I capture images of what is seen, yet unseen. The overlooked, the bypassed, the unnoticed…I bring them to attention.
I want to see and capture the beauty in the ordinary, the normal.
I use light and composition to create emotion
I am a visual storyteller, making moments of life in it’s purity.
Engage. Surprise. Delight.
I make the viewer feel they are inside the shot, experiencing the action in the frame.
Visual riddles written in imagination, detail and light.
This one has been kind of tough for me. I shoot so many different kinds of things that I was having trouble nailing it down. The one thing in common is that there are people in just about every photo I make.
And I couldn’t think of one image that would be perfect for it, so I posted a composite of many recent images that I think is a better illustration of what I do and want to do. All but two of these images were shot in the last four months. Together, I think they speak to the photojournalism/editorial photography that I aspire to.
Vision Statement: I illustrate people’s life stories through images that reflect their personality and spirit. My style is clear, focused and in focus, close-up, emotional, strong, sometimes powerful, sometimes silly, but always connected to my subject.
I am in search of fun, bold or exciting.
To make inspired images that transcend time.
I continue to learn and grow while making simple uncluttered connections with my subjects.
I capture images hidden behind the mask.
I create photos with intent, to record the beauty of life and evoke emotion.
Work the shot.
I capture where the curve and the linear meet.
I make images with harmony and flow between the elements.
To create images that make people say wow, by capturing a personality, telling a story or giving the viewer a new way to look at things.
explore, connect, and enjoy the mystery
beauty is everywhere, we just need to uncovered it!
See it, feel it, create it
Capturing the ordinary and making it extraordinary
Provoke emotion, stir a memory, or capture something beautiful.
I missed the deadline to upload my photo, can I still participate in a webinar?
